Apps team meeting April 9 2004

Notes

• Jed is ready with the migration changes, has been waiting for the build
• Jed has a fix for the splitter window bug
• Morgen is working on a proposal for the parcel xml, has run it by folks and has generally gotten consensus. Morgen will send out mail to the list to let folks know he's going ahead with the proposal.
• John is helping out Mark with wx build issues.
• We have a general plan in place, Katie will meet with folks individually to set folks up with UI tasks -- we want to get back on track with milestone goals.
• The wx transition has fallen on the rocks a bit.
  • We need to meet with folks and talk about the process problems we've had with getting 2.5 in the build, to learn from it.
  • We need to get the 2.5 in the build in a working state asap
  • We need to raise the bar on how the build should work, so that we have adequate debugging information, and that we don't go through chaos for every release.
• We're splitting into apps and services working groups, Lisa will coordinate the services group. The apps working group will now focus on CPIA and the UI. Folks may work on projects in both groups. As an example, Morgen will be working both on UI/CPIA projects as well as the parcel loading, which will be managed in the services group.
