Intern update

• Vinu - basic CardDAV^? implementation working. Working on reporting for CardDAV^?.
• Ed - Working on cosmo admin console pagination. Almost done.

Scooby Merge

• Merge is starting on the trunk.
• Bobby is working on it, the merge should be complete in two weeks.
• Scooby 0.3 infrastructure features will start after that.
• Scooby release date is pushed out 2 weeks. FC: Middle of Sept, Release: End of Sept.
• Question: Scooby and magic URLs
  • Still some question about the solution in this area.
    • 1: Scooby shows URLs and instructions for various clients
    • 2: Magic URL that works via forwarding and user Agents
  • Proposal 1 seems to be the most workable in this respect. Action Item: Close on this decision.
    • Still would require some Chandler work.
    • Chandler relies on Cosmo for this work.
    • Action Item: Need to make sure this work is on the Chandler 0.7alpha4 plan. (End of September)
  • BCM proposes that Scooby 0.3 become Cosmo 0.5

    • Hibernate work is happening on the sandbox branch and happening with Randy and SimDesk^? team.
    • BCM is working on his pieces of the hibernate work.

  • attached to their bug in Bugzilla.
  • FoxMarks^? will roll their own build for the feature.
  • BCM sent email to the list to ask for feedback on whether or not this belongs in the core cosmo code.

• Cosmo Sprint Week
  • Agenda.. please provide feedback on the agenda. We'll tweak it as needed.
    • Sheila walks through the Sprint Week Agenda. * Day 1: OSAF mission, strategy, values, priorities, Open Mic session, etc. * Day 2: Design day.. interactive exercises, target user discussions, etc. * Day 3: Hosted Service, Cosmo vision brainstorming, QA tools/strategies, Sharing Format discussions, Notifications, etc.
    • Action Item: Priscilla will repost the URL to the public calendar for the agenda to the mailing list.
    • Bear requested that we have an online camera in the room during the Sprint sessions.
    • Please review and the agenda and give feedback.
    • A couple of night time activities.
    • Comments: * BCM: let's make decisions that will be implemented in the future, quick summaries available publicly.
      • Idea: Quick daily summaries to the list at the end of each day.
    • Really focusing on interactive sessions in the second day.
    • Ted: Bunch of topics we want to talk about, we want to be flexible on time. Would like to see more input from team on topics.

Scooby

• Matt will be in a day before the sprint. we can find time to talk about technical issues while he is here.
• Dojo storage API work with IBM, Brian Skinner thinks that OSAF should get involved.

• MDE talked with Alex about merging our time/date implementations into the Dojo libraries.
  • Issue: corporate CLA needed from Dojo. Action Item: John to talk with Katie about licensing issue.
• Selenium (Mikeal)
  • MDE says that Selenium has some very nice features that we could use in our automated build process.
  • Mikeal to have Adam look into it and consider adding Selenium.
